Silver Future Guide

Editorial policy

Silver Future Guide aims to make its explanations clear, careful and useful. We distinguish general information from personal advice and correct the record when we find an error.

Accuracy and care

We check wording, dates and claims against suitable information before publication and avoid presenting assumptions as facts. Articles are written for general readers, not as substitutes for advice tailored to an individual. If a topic turns on personal circumstances, professional judgement or changing official requirements, we say so and point readers towards appropriate guidance rather than offering a verdict.

Independence and partnerships

Editorial choices are made for reader relevance, not to secure a commercial relationship. Any paid, sponsored or partner material is clearly labelled where it appears. A partnership does not guarantee favourable editorial coverage, and partner placements do not determine what our editorial pages say.

Corrections and illustrations

Readers can report a suspected error through the Contact page. We review correction requests, update material when warranted and make significant corrections clear to readers. Some illustrations may be generated with AI; they are used as illustrations, not as documentary evidence.
